Safety lock

Keep children away from the hob for

their own safety.

Your appliance is equipped with a

safety lock to prevent the hob and the

cooking zones being switched on or

any settings being altered.

The safety lock can be activated when

the hob is switched off as well as when

it is in use.

If the safety lock is activated when the

hob is switched off, then the hob

cannot be switched on.

If the safety lock is activated when the

hob is in use, please note the

following:

– The settings for the cooking zones

cannot be changed.

– The cooking zones and hob can be

switched off, but once switched off

cannot be switched on again.

To activate the safety lock, touch the -

and + sensors at the same time until

you hear the audible tone.

When touching a sensor for a zone

when the safety lock is activated, the

audible signal emitted is slightly longer

than normal.

To de-activate the safety lock, touch

the - and + sensors at the same time

until you hear the audible tone.

Please note that the safety lock will

deactivate if there is a power cut.
