Problem Possible cause Remedy

The ß symbol flashes

alternately with the

power setting

selected in one of the

cooking zones.

There is no pan on the

cooking zone, or the pan is

unsuitable.

Use a suitable pan (see

"Pans").

After the hob is

switched on "LC"

appears in the timer

display for a few

seconds.

The system lock is activated. Deactivate the system

lock (see "Safety lock /

appears in the timer

display for a few

seconds.

The cooking zones

do not heat up.

The appliance is in

demonstration mode.

whole hob switches

off automatically.

switching it back on
